COVID19: UPDATE

To Our Beloved Pet Parents:
Clifton Ave Animal Hospital is taking the necessary steps to continue to provide the care and service you are accustomed to while still adhering to the CDC recommendations regarding the current COVID19 crisis. Because this situation continues to change daily, we are putting the following protocols into effect, with the understanding that we may need to change these protocols as the situation at hand changes.

In  an attempt to adhere to social distancing, while still meeting the needs of our patients, we will be implementing CURBSIDE SERVICE:
• For Appointments:  Upon your arrival, please call  us (973-894-3410) to inform us that you are here and remain in your vehicle (or outside the hospital) and a staff member will be out to greet you shortly.

• For Medication Pick-Ups:  Same as above.

• For those clients entering  our facility: We have implemented a ONE person per pet  policy.

• If you are feeling ill, please call us before coming to the hospital so that we can either reschedule your appointment, or in emergency situations, provide information on how to proceed once you arrive.

As of March 23rd, our hours will be adjusted to adhere to local curfews, and to limit staff exposure. We will remain open to serve the needs of our clients, so please check our website or call us to get information on the current hours. Elective procedures, such as neuters and dentals, will not be scheduled until this crisis has passed.

Again, certain circumstances may warrant change to the above protocol. Please inform us of any concern you have at the time of your appointment and we will make every effort to accommodate both you and your fur baby.
We will closely monitor the information from the CDC and local authorities to ensure that we keep up with the recommendations and change them as necessary.
In addition to the rigid cleaning and disinfecting protocols already in place, we have increased the frequency of these practices.
